My client is a B2C business with a national footprint. As a result of growth, they are seeking a head of marketing to lead the marketing team. This role will cover all aspects of marketing, PR and communications activities for the business. Reporting into the board, the head of marketing will be accountable for:
·     Offline marketing strategy & operations – collateral, point of sales, signage local events
·     Online marketing activities – PPC & SEO strategy, social networking, paid advertising, review sites, web contract and web management, CRM
·     Team management – responsible for a capable team of 5 including marketing and PR execs, officers and coordinators
·     Leading and implementing local tactics and national strategies for the group
·     Plan and execute new openings, relaunches and events
·     A proven marketing professional operating at a senior manager or ‘head of level’
·     Degree education, preferably within a marketing field and some form of marketing accreditation
·     Marketing management experience and expertise within the retail or hospitality environment (stores, gyms, hotels for example) is essential to be considered
·     Exposure to running budgets in excess of £500k
·     Has managed both digital and traditional marketing channels in recent roles.
